Is there an Echo in the room?

Today we went to get my Echo-cardiogram done. We should find out the results in a few days. I have a history of heart murmurs, hopefully that wont be an issue.

Getting ready for the test. He placed 3 electrodes on my chest. Then applied a jelly type substance to a wand. He then proceeded to rub the wand against my chest to get the correct scans needed.

He also took sound recordings of my heart beat in order to detect any irregularity.

I will say that I was not prepared for him to scan my pancreas area. He was scanning the bottom of my heart, but in doing so pushed down on my pancreas. I am home now, and in a pretty good deal of pain.

As soon as I receive the reports from the cardiologist I will post them.
